| Automated assembly and web handling cell including two unwind locations, tension control system, trim slitting, servo controlled payout rollers, and an ultrasonic welding head. Two independent webs are unwound from supply rolls by independent payout nip systems. Webs are then accurately cut to length and ultrasonically welded together by the servo positioned ultrasonic head. Each completed assembly is automatically discharged from the machine. Operator interface panel allows easy creation and storage of multiple standard part setup recipes and quantities as well as custom recipes for short runs. |
