| Automated machining and assembly cell including inline parts washer. This machine is used to perform secondary machining operations and assemble several components into an aluminum die-cast housing. From a load-dial, parts are transferred via a precision indexer around multiple horizontal and vertical machine spindles. Machined parts are indexed through a parts washer and transferred to the assembly dial. Two bushings are inserted and ball-sized. After each part is machined and assembled, the machine tests each feature and accepts or rejects parts during unload. |
